Morris Davis has a 36 year history of multi-faceted experience, including Business Continuity Planning, Business Management, Risk Analysis, and Business Process Analysis including integration of technology, Continuity Plan Documentation, and Budget Management.
Davis holds a BS degree in Business Management from University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of South Florida. He has been published in Millennium Magazine, Contingency & Planning Management, and has developed course curriculum as adjunct professor in the Business School at University of South Florida. Mr. Davis received his CBCP certification from the Disaster Recovery Institute in 1993.
With 30+ years in IBM, Davis has utilized his highly developed skill in such areas as strategic planning, project management, business process reengineering, change management, facilities management in mainframe, midframe, and client server computing. As a Principal in the Business Continuity Consulting Group in Tampa, Florida he managed multiple practices for IBM in Atlanta, GA and in Chicago, IL. He has worked in the industries of law, insurance, healthcare, communications, petroleum, software support, government distribution/manufacturing, education, multi-nationals, and banking/credit card processing.
Davis has strength in outstanding communication skill and analytical skill which he couples with creative problem solving and astute trouble-shooting to provide outstanding consulting and business continuity guidance. As a Business Continuity Professional, he has provided national and international Business Continuity consulting services in the US, Australia, Japan, Italy, and South America.
